Unlocking Jafar in Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of the most exciting milestones for players exploring the expansion content on Eternity Isle. The iconic villain from Aladdin brings a unique storyline, intriguing quests, and powerful magic to your growing magical community. Following a structured approach ensures you can recruit him without missing key story requirements along the way.
Prerequisites for Finding Jafar
Before you can invite Jafar to join your valley, you must first own the A Rift in Time expansion pass and unlock Eternity Isle. Progressing through the early expansion quests with Gaston, Rapunzel, and Eve is necessary to restore power across the various biomes. Completing these primary storyline missions lays the foundation for your eventual confrontation and alliance with the Royal Vizier.
Navigating Jafar's Palace Quests
Your journey to unlock Jafar takes you deep into the heart of the Royal Palace located within the Ancient's Landing region. Inside the palace, you will encounter complex key puzzles, hidden passages, and magical barriers designed to test your problem-solving abilities. Working closely with your royal hour glass tool allows you to reverse time, clear obstacles, and assemble the necessary quest items.
Resolving the Main Storyline Conflict
As you near the final chapter of the expansion's narrative, you must resolve the lingering dark magic affecting Eternity Isle. Confronting Jafar requires gathering specialized resources and crafting unique magical artifacts to counter his ancient spells. Balancing these tasks with your daily valley routines helps ensure you have enough mist and materials ready for the final encounters.
Welcoming Jafar to the Valley
Once the main expansion storyline concludes, Jafar is finally freed from his palace confinement and becomes available as a full villager. You can place his unique home, grant him a daily role, and build friendship levels to unlock themed rewards. Establishing a high friendship level with Jafar unlocks new questlines and grants access to classic Aladdin-inspired cosmetics for your character.
