Finding all five minikits in the Now This Is Podracing level of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga requires players to pay close attention to both outer space dogfights and interior spaceship battles. While some collectibles can be gathered during your first Story Mode playthrough, others require returning in Free Play mode to unlock special events. Completing this set rewards players with the Naboo Starfighter Microstarship to navigate the galaxy.
Outer Space Minikits and Objectives
As soon as the level begins in the space battle above Naboo, you can target specific exterior structures to claim early collectibles. Look beneath the massive Droid Control Ship to locate four small antenna towers positioned along the hull. Destroying all four antennas rewards you with a minikit right away.
Another minikit in this open-space segment is earned by destroying four Vulture Droids during the dogfight phase. Since targeting enemy starfighters is a primary requirement for progressing the mission, players often unlock this collectible naturally. Keeping your starfighter moving and utilizing lock-on missiles makes short work of these airborne targets.
Interior Ship Exploration and Cleansweeps
Once your starfighter flies inside the Droid Control Ship, the gameplay shifts toward interior combat and target practice. Inside the primary hangar bay, focus your lasers on the brown Multi-Troop Transports stationed along the floor. Blowing up ten of these MTT vehicles grants the third minikit for your collection.
Continuing further into the interior brings you face to face with rolling Droideka enemies equipped with energy shields. Firing continuously at these shielded units until four of them are completely destroyed unlocks the fourth collectible. Combining thorough firepower with quick maneuvers ensures you clear out all interior collectibles before ending the sequence.
Free Play Time Trial Race
The final collectible in this stage cannot be acquired during your initial story run and demands a return trip. When re-entering the level in Free Play mode, locate the large glowing race marker floating outside near the capital ship. Accepting this challenge starts a time trial course through green ring checkpoints scattered across open space.
You must complete the entire flight ring course in under 100 seconds to secure the gold medal. Continuous use of your engine boost makes passing through all ten checkpoints well within the time limit simple. Reaching the finish line before the timer runs out grants the fifth minikit and completes your collection for the mission.
